Good health and well-being is the most important goal of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in my opinion. Saving lives of millions is the key to a better world, which everyone on our planet deserves to have. Achieving this goal could possibly make other goals of the UN Sustainable Development easier to achieve.
The overall goal is to eliminate a wide range of diseases and address various continuous emerging health issues. Speaking of continuous emerging health, UN Sustainable Development wants to ensure healthy lives over all countries around the world and to promote well being at all ages. So far UN sustainable have a achieved many of this goals such as, reducing some of the common killers associated with child and maternal morality. But still UN sustainable have some unfinished goals, such as achieving the target of less than 70 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births by 2030 that would require improvements in skilled delivery care.
Which will lead us the main question how UN are going to achieve that goal by 2030? As we all know this part of the goal needs more efforts than most of others. To achieve this target would require more efficient technologies, such as cleaning fuel use during cleaning and education on the risks of tobacco. Even though this will not be good enough to accomplish the goal. UN sustainable would also need more efforts to eradicate this horrible diseases. This efforts will help UN to address differents persistent and emerging health issues.
